Edible Peppermint Serving Tray/Bowl This is one of the easiest projects I have done for Christmas. It is very easy! You can make any design you like with the peppermints (you can use other hard candies for other occasions). Line a cookie sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil and arrange the candies in your preferred design, leaving about 1/4 inch space between each candy to allow for spreading. I love using non-stick foil, plus there were some great coupons out last month! Place the sheet with
This is a VERY EASY and fun project to do with your kids! You can tell by looking at mine that my kids did, indeed help me with this project. Just about every project I do, they help me with 🙂 This project can be as inexpensive as you want it to be. I used a mismatched plate that I had in my cabinet, but you can use plates from anywhere. You can get them at thrift stores, yard sales, or if you want to go the expensive route, you

Again, I was surfing Pinterest and just HAD to try my own version of this super cute recipe. I have dumbed it down for my own taste. Y’all know how I love simple ♥ These are perfect for Memorial Day or Forth of July ♥ I also love homemade icing, so you will notice that I use the same icing recipe a LOT 🙂 Here we go!
Balloon Party Ice I saw this super cute idea on Pinterest and had to try it for myself! The Pinterest pin I read said the balloons could be thawed and refrozen. I wouldn’t recommend doing that as the balloons become very fragile after freezing. I also will say to be very careful when handling these frozen balloons. Although this craft is super simple and cute to make, once the balloons are frozen, the ice inside has sharp edges and can pop the balloons. It’s not that big of a deal since they are frozen
I saw this wreath in a magazine while I was in the waiting room at my doctor’s office. Everything I used for this wreath was purchased at my local Dollar tree! It was so much fun and very easy to create. This can be used as a Memorial Day wreath or a decoration for the 4th of July ♥ Here you go: Gather your supplies: 1 grape vine wreath (I used the 12″) 24-36 artificial red carnations 24-36 artificial white carnations 12-18 blue carnations (or something similar) 1 pack of
American Flag Cake for Memorial Day/4th of July I saw a patriotic cake while surfing the web and knew I needed to try it! This was SUPER easy and fun to make. My kids think I’m a genius for “figuring it out” LOL If you bake often, then you won’t even need the instructions, just a little nudge in the patriotic direction and VOILA! Use your favorite white cake mix and white icing and there you go. I even used a strawberry cake mix for the red layer this last time
