New Pete's Dragon Activity Sheets and Film Clip #PetesDragonEvent

Can you believe that August is almost here and it’s almost time for Disney’s Pete’s Dragon to open in theaters everywhere across the country?!  Ahhh, yes, we are focusing on back to school around here too, but Pete’s Dragon is helping us focus on more than just going back to school.  It’s a great distraction for my youngest who is not looking forward to school starting back at all!  Disney has just released a new film clip along with a super fun activity packet.  I am printing it out right now for the kids to have waiting on them when they wake up.  It’s always a fun surprise when they get goodies from Disney in the mornings 😀  Be sure to print yours out now and have fun with Pete’s Dragon today!  I’ll be heading out in just a couple of weeks to the Pete’s Dragon red carpet in Los Angeles, so be sure to follow along.  There will be tons of fun stuff coming up 😀

About Disney’s Pete’s Dragon:

For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon. Disney’s “Pete’s Dragon” opens in U.S. theaters on August 12, 2016.
