Zoku Iced Coffee Maker A Perfect For The Coffee Lover
We had the extreme pleasure of using the Zoku Iced Coffee Maker recently. Let me tell you; this thing gets COLD! I had no idea something could even get that cold in my freezer at home. I’m not sure what the ‘secret formula’ is or what it is filled with, but when I put just bottled water in the frozen chamber, it was frozen solid in a matter of minutes. I was drinking from the straw and knew I hadn’t drank all of the water, but nothing was coming out. It was ice! LOL We quickly figured out that this iced coffee maker was solely for hot beverages that you want to make cold, quickly. So, I made Hannah her favorite hot/cold drink; milk coffee. If you’re unsure of what milk coffee is, it’s mostly milk and sugar with a little bit of coffee in it. We heated the milk a bit in the microwave before adding it to the frozen chamber, then added the sugar and coffee. We stirred it around a bit then let it sit for a couple of minutes. Voila! We had frozen coffee! Hannah was very happy. She was even happier when we made frozen hot chocolate the next day. This is such a fun and ‘cool’ cup to have around. It’s perfect for any frozen beverage. She already has big plans for heating up kool aid and putting it in there. I’m not sure how that’s going to turn out, but I’ll let y’all know 🙂
From Zoku:
Turn piping hot coffee or tea into a delicious chilled beverage in as little as five minutes. Don’t let ice dilute your favorite flavor, just store your stainless steel mug in your freezer, add it to the insulating sleeve, pour your beverage and snap the lid on tight. This travel mug is spill resistant with a sipping straw that makes it ideal for drinking on the go.
