Want the best Houston has to offer? Try Wyndham Energy Corridor!

*My family was given this travel opportunity in exchange for our honest feedback. As always, opinions are 100% my own and we only recommend places we feel are a great fit.*

Do I have a story to tell you?!  LOL  We spent our 4th of July weekend in Houston enjoying the best they have to offer.  The first stop on our Houston travel train was the Wyndham Energy Corridor.  We were checking in for the night before we headed out for a fun-filled night on the town.  Before we even drove up to the hotel; my husband was quite impressed with how easily accessible the Wyndham is.  This is always a concern when visiting a large city with the amount of traffic that Houston has.  We had absolutely no problem finding the location and getting right to the front entrance.  As you can see in the above pictures; the hotel is gorgeous all the way from the outside seating ‘oasis’ to the super comfy and inviting indoor lobby.  Everything has recently been beautifully renovated.  I have to say; the fresh orange infused water at the entrance is a beautiful touch!  I am a sucker for great presentation for food and beverages and this really added a beautiful touch to the lobby.

On our way to our room, we noticed the sign below; BINGO!  Daddy’s going to be happy 😀

The first thing I always check out when I get into my room is the bed.  I LOVE my sleep and am super picky about hotel beds.  The bed was beautiful and fresh!  Yes, fresh is very important when choosing a hotel bed LOL  Of course I flipped back the blankets and sheets and did a thorough inspection.  They were PERFECT!

The girls were enjoying their room as well.  They love it when we’re able to get adjoining rooms and they get their own space.  Little do they know; Mom and Dad are equally as happy 😀

The next most important area of a hotel room, in my opinion, is the bathroom.  Well, maybe it’s not next, but just as important as where we will be sleeping.   The bathrooms in the Wyndham Energy Corridor were truly luxurious.  I am a sucker for details and they definitely paid close attention to the details in this bathroom.  Seriously, the details in this room were perfect for me!  It’s the little things with me; like the silver T.P. cover in the bathroom LOL

The office space was also perfect!  I do a lot of work when I’m on the road and having my own space is definitely at the top of my list of important amenities.  The office chair was super comfy too, which made me very happy.

The view from the 12th floor was beautiful!  I absolutely love rooms that are on an upper level.  Looking out the window at night with the kids is the best.  The last time we went to Houston, a helicopter flew right outside the window of our room, which was very exciting 😀

After our night on the town in Houston for the Fourth of July, we returned to relax in the indoor pool!  This was the perfect ending to a wonderful day in a beautiful city.

Right after we checked out the next morning, we hopped over to the Park Restaurant & Grille.  There was a buffet style breakfast with all of our favorites!  My daughter and I just love fresh fruit with our breakfast and there was plenty of beautiful fruit for us to enjoy.  The plate below was my breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuit and gravy, cantaloupe, watermelon, and strawberry.
