As most of you, who follow Acadiana’s Thrifty Mom know; my husand, children, and I love doing community outreach projects. We have a natural connection to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Autism Society of Acadiana because our oldest daughter is a patient at St. Jude and has autism. Our true passion (aside from our children 🙂 is helping feed the needy. Living in south Louisiana lends itself to TONS of opportunities to really make a difference in this arena.

We have teamed up with Foodnet ~ The Greater Acadiana Food Bank and help out with Welcome House Shelter in Crowley and Louisiana Lunch Money.
