Easy Peasy Taco Ring
This easy peasy taco ring is a HUGE hit with the kiddos at our house.  This is very similar to the taco pizza we love at our house. The biggest difference for this is that everyone gets to “dress” their own piece of the taco ring. When you have picky eaters in your house like we do; that is a great quality to have in an entree 😀
Gather your ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 cup (4 oz) cheddar cheese
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 2 8 oz refrigerated crescent rolls
Garnish:
- salsa
- shredded lettuce
- tomato
- Chopped green onion
- sour cream
Get started:Â
Preheat oven to 350. Brown ground beef, drain and add tomato sauce and seasoning. Â Cook on medium for about 10 minutes while constantly stirring.
Unroll crescent rolls and separate. Arrange triangles in a circle on a round baking stone with wide ends
overlapping in center and points toward the outside. There should be about a 7 inch diameter in the center.
Sprinkle the cheese over the wide end of the crescent circle near the center. Scoop meat mixture evenly onto the cheese. Bring points in and over and tuckunde rneath the wide end.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
You can garnish with lettuce, salsa, tomatoes, onion, sour cream, etc.
