My kit as well as the winners kit will come with a whitening pen that you basically paint on the whitening gel on your teeth, then you place the whitening tray over your teeth to keep the gel from coming off. Then you place the LED Whitening light in your mouth in order to speed the whitening process. I LOVED this product because when I use the whitening strips there always seemed to be places that never got whitened. My teeth never got sensitive while using this but if yours does you can skip a day of whitening.
