Peanut Butter Secrets

I’m still hunting Christmas cookies for Santa!  I found these deliciously simple looking cookies on Jif’s Pinterest page.  I cannot wait to try them.  My son is going to LOVE them, I just know.  He’s such a peanut butter fanatic.  These would also make great gifts for the peanut butter lover in your life.  Just put them in a mason jar with a ribbon tied around it and VOILA!  I hope you enjoy these cookies as much as we did!

Ingredients: 

• Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
• 1 cup Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
• Or 1 stick Crisco® Baking Sticks Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
• 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
• Or 1 teaspoon Crisco® Baking Sticks Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
• 1 cup (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
