Laugh Like A Girl With Jacky Ha-Ha #HAHABookClub

If you enjoy having fun with your daughter; you are going to definitely want to laugh like a girl with Jacky Ha-Ha!  Do you ever sit down with your daughter and a good book.  I mean, a book that isn’t for school or learning, but just for having fun?  I can tell you that every book I have ever read “with” my children has actually been me reading “to” them.  That was not the case with Jacky Ha-Ha.  Hannah, my youngest of three children has always struggled to read, which means that she has never found any joy from books.  Jacky Ha-Ha was so different for us.  We both felt an immediate connection to Jacky and could just hear her in the classroom!  She is hilarious!  All of her jokes, pranks and antics will have you and your daughter rolling!
About Jacky Ha-Ha:
In his new middle grade novel that debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, James Patterson introduces his hilarious new heroine, Jacky Ha-Ha, a class clown who makes people laugh with her so they can’t laugh at her.
With her irresistible urge to tell a joke in every situation–even when she really, really shouldn’t–twelve-year-old Jacky Ha-Ha loves to make people laugh. And cracking wise helps distract her from thinking about not-so-funny things in her life, like her mom serving in a dangerous, faraway war, and a dad who’s hardly ever home.
But no matter how much fun Jacky has, she can’t seem to escape her worries. So one starlit night, she makes a promise to keep her family together…even if she has to give up the one thing that makes her happy. But can she stop being Jacky Ha-Ha, if that’s who she really is?

That’s a really good book based on your review. I don’t have a daughter but I do have a son. I guess I just need to find the boy version of this book and I’ll have to do my best to read this with him.
