I had the awesome opportunity to review the Insignia™ – Plug-In Bluetooth Speaker and the Insignia Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I was happy to get to review them but, honestly, not that excited. Then I tried them! Oh. my. goodness! We are so in love with them both! My youngest daughter is turning 9 this week and she wants her own speaker LOL We were sent 2 speakers and sharing is never fun around our house. My husband, all three of our kids, and I are all digging these speakers. I’m going to be honest, they sat in their boxes for about a week. I wasn’t in a hurry to open them; after all they were just speakers. Well, I’m here to tell you, these are so much more than ‘just’ speakers.

My husband and I have been tossing around the idea of getting a sound bar for our television because the sound is horrible on our new TV. We have a large, open living area with tall ceilings that only makes this problem worse. When we got these bluetooth speakers in the mail; I didn’t even think about using it with our TV. Our television, itself, won’t hook up with the speakers, but we have Kindle Fire TV from Amazon and IT does hook up with the speakers! YAY! The sound on the plug in speaker is so loud and clear! This little speaker literally filled the room with amazing sound. We watch Youtube videos and Netflix movies all day long with this speaker. It truly is amazing and a fraction of the cost of a speaker bar.

This sounds wonderful – and will keep it in mind – none of our TVs are capable of such a device – even tho 2 of them are newer – we must have just missed that upgrade for our TV’s!!
