Give The Gift Of Virtual Reality With Encyclopaedia Britannica This Year
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Encyclopaedia Britannica. All opinions are 100% my own.
This year, we are trying out something new from Encyclopaedia Britannica. I’m going to be completely honest and let you know that, in this world of instant gratification and constantly competing for the best and most expensive gaming systems, I was a little nervous. Much to my satisfaction, the Encyclopaedia Britannica Virtual Reality Exploration set did NOT disappoint!
Hannah, my 11 year old 6th grader absolutely loves the Encyclopaedia Britannica Virtual Reality Exploration set. I was really hoping she would fall in love with it, but wasn’t sure since she and her brother are so into the latest fad. She actually sat down and read portions of the Oceans, Landmarks, and Animals books. They are set up in a format where students can read short excerpts. This is so much easier and more fun for young people with short attention spans.
Then we got out the VR viewer with the app on my phone and the real fun began. Hannah walked all around our living room, which I would not recommend, then finally I made her sit to look at the Animals. I even gave it a try and it was so much fun! The great part was that she was learning and didn’t even know it!
The Encyclopaedia Britannica Virtual Reality 6-book set is perfect for ages 7+. This 6-book boxed set includes vetted information from Encyclopaedia Britannica plus a virtual reality experience. Each hardcover book is rich with full-color illustrations and photographs, lively graphics, inviting text, and videos. It is the perfect holiday gift that grandparents, parents, and children can enjoy together for hours! Included is a 6-month free subscription to Encyclopaedia Britannica Online®.
The set comes packaged with a virtual reality viewer and instructions for downloading six different apps for no additional cost.
