This Easy Eggnog Coffee Recipe may be our family’s favorite holiday recipe of all. I kind of feel guilty calling it a recipe. The only part of the recipe we actually “make” is the coffee and even that can be store bought if you want. Everyone in our house loves it during the holidays!

Even the few people around who don’t particularly love eggnog; love coffee and appreciate the holiday flavor when the weather starts cooling off in the fall. I’m not a big coffee drinker during warm weather months, but as soon as the first cool front hits; I’m making my way to the coffee pot. The only way I will drink eggnog during the holidays is in this coffee recipe.

You can really get as creative as you want with this Easy Eggnog Coffee Recipe. I have a friend who loves to add cinnamon to it. A candy cane and marshmallows are a nice addition and can take the place of the whipped cream if you don’t have any on-hand. I love making different flavored coffees.

Easy Eggnog Coffee Recipe

Gather your ingredients:

  • 8 oz of your favorite coffee freshly brewed
  • 1/2 cup eggnog (warmed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • A sprinkle of nutmeg

Get to brewing:

  • Pour the coffee in your cup. If you have a favorite coffee cup, you can just fill it about halfway instead of measuring the coffee out.
  • Warm your eggnog for about 30 seconds in the microwave on high before adding to the coffee.
  • Add sugar and vanilla to the coffee and eggnog and mix until the sugar dissolves.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
