June Stock Up!
Shopping sales and stocking up at the rock bottom prices are the goals to being an effective couponer. Couponing can be time consuming but by doing it and staying on top of it, you can save up to 50% or possibly even more off your shopping bill. Shopping sales sounds easy but know that every time you see a product marked down a little bit that it may not be its rock bottom sale price.
“Sale cycles” usually happen every 3 months, during these sales you will often find prices cheaper than the “usual sale” and will be able to pair these sales with a coupon to save the most amount of money.
The “Art of Couponing” is to use these “Sale Cycles” to our advantage, pair them with the coupons, stock up and only shop for these items when we can get rock bottom pricing. Let me help you a bit, if your family uses 4 boxes of cereal per month you will need to purchase 12 boxes of cereal at stock up prices to last you until the next sale. These items with coupons and sale cycles you should be able to purchase for a fraction of the cost, almost free or even free.
Sale Cycles for June
National Dairy Month: Milk, Eggs, Cheese, Butter, Ice Cream, Yogurt, Whipped Cream
4th of July Sales: {End of June} Grilling items such as: Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Buns, condiments, Salad Dressing, Chips, Dip
Seasonal Produce: Strawberries, Blackberries, Corn, Peaches, Onions, Tomatoes, Watermelon, Apricots, Cucumber, Eggplant
Make sure when shopping to stock up on your items that you use ethical couponing practices. Buy what you need and don’t clear the shelves, unless of course there is only a couple of the item on the shelf. If the item is not in stock and your coupon doesn’t expire until after the sale is over grab a rain check and check back and the store and grab your items. Most stores restock after sales are over.
