Lookie what we have! A wok and steamer basket from Tabletops Unlimited! I was given one of each to review and, of course, I have a set to give away to 1 lucky reader 😀 Well, this couldn’t have come at a better time for us. My family has decided to make some serious healthy lifestyle changes, so I was ELATED at the chance to review these items. I have been frying egg rolls for a few years and wanted to try them steamed. I have never used a bamboo steaming basket, which really excited me. It doesn’t take much LOL The wok is the perfect size for our family and did an amazing job of cooking evenly without sticking! This makes me super happy since we are cutting back on oils and fats! Now, here is my new favorite healthy recipe made with my new wok and steamer basket from Tabletops Unlimited:
Gather your ingredients:
- 1 boneless skinless chicken breast, diced
- 2 strips of turkey bacon
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 16 ounce bag coleslaw mix with shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup bottled teriyaki marinade
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 24 egg roll wraps
- 1 egg white, beaten
Get to cookin’:
- Cook the chicken and bacon in the wok until almost done, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the packaged coleslaw mix, onions, garlic, teriyaki sauce and soy sauce to the chicken and bacon; mix well and continue to cook on medium-high for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat
- Heat the water for steamer.
- While steamer heats, wrap about 1/4 cup of the chicken and cabbage mixture in each egg roll wrap, rolling tightly.
- Place egg rolls on steamer basket, seam side down, and cover and steam for 5 minutes.
- Remove carefully from steamer and ENJOY!

Thank you for this recipe. It look so healthy and delish.
I would absolutely love to win one of these. I have wanted one for years. 🙂
last Christmas
The last time I bought myself new pots was about 15 years ago: some great Le Creuset pieces at a factory seconds sale. I already had several full sets of pots I inherited in brand new condition from my mom. (still have them all!)
I got a set a year and a half ago on a black friday deal
The last time I got pots and pans has been 12 years.
I bought some five years ago.
I bought my current set of regular pots and pans about 1-2 years ago, but still have others I need to upgrade. I do a LOT of Oriental cooking (mostly Japanese) so I use my wok at least four times a week – sometimes as many as 7 days. The wok I have now is getting worn from all the use and I’ve been wanting to get a new one, plus the one I have doesn’t have a lid like this one does.
I haven’t bought any in awhile.
It has been several years since I got anything new to cook with!
I bought a Green Pan a few months ago, and I really like it. I’ve been wanting a Wok for a long time though!
I haven’t bought any in seven years need some
I would love to win one of these they are very high quality and I so need a new one. We eat a lot of stir fry and a regular frying pan just doesn’t do it justice. I also need a good steamer and nothing compares to bamboo.
bought a whole set of pots and pans about 6 months ago
I really need a wok!
It’s been too long since I bought a pot or pan,I can’t even remember. I won a pan about two years ago from a giveaway contest.
It would be so awesome to win this Wok and Steamer Basket!!! Ive had an electric wok in the past and it just didnt work well. The attached recipe sounds so yummylicious. Cant wait to make it in the Wok. Thanks.
It’s been a couple of years.
I got a new set about 5 years ago, as a Christmas present. I could use some new things.
It has been years since I treated myself to new pots and pans. Think I need to ASAP!
It has been many years since I bought any new cookwear.
It is has been a long time, I would say about 4 years ago. And the ones I have are in no way high quality. I love cooking and definitely need to invest in some better pots and pans soon!
Last time I bought pots and pans was about 3-4 mos. ago needed to replace old ones.
It’s probably going on 10 years that I’ve bought new pots and pans.
About then years ago, I bought some
I meant to ten years ago
I have always wanted to try making my own egg rolls!!!
Im sad to say that I really dont remember but it must be YEARS!
I have not had much of anything new for myself or home , most of my clothing is given by the grace of GOD and pots and pans or items like that probably like 12 years or more……… what little money I have I try to spend it on my eight grandchildren.. thanks @tisonlyme143
I bought a frying pan about 6 months ago, I’m trying to upgrade but they are expensive.
Probably about 5 years ago.
It’s been about 2 years since I had new pots and pans, they were actually given to me as a home warming present
WAIT!!! A whole set? 2005 would be the last time & then I gave it to my Mom when I moved out again. Since then I’ve had pieces.
