Easy Peppermint Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy

Instructions

  1. Line 8 X 8 inch pan with parchment, wax paper, or aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Combine semi-sweet chocolate and 1/2 cup of the sweetened condensed milk in microwave safe bowl, and heat in microwave on high in 20 second increments. Stir between heating. It takes me 60 second total.

  3. Add vanilla extract and stir until smooth.

  4. Pour mixture into prepared pan and smooth with back of spoon.

  5. Combine white chocolate and 1/2 cup of the sweetened condensed milk in microwave safe bowl, and heat in microwave on high in 20 second increments. Stir between heating. It takes me 60 second total.

  6. Add peppermint extract and stir until smooth.

  7. Pour mixture on top of chocolate mixture in pan.

  8. Sprinkle crushed peppermint evenly over top.

  9. Lightly cover with plastic wrap or wax paper and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fudge is set.

  10. Cut into bite-size pieces and enjoy.

  11. Store in air-tight container.
