American Flag Cake for Memorial Day/4th of July I saw a patriotic cake while surfing the web and knew I needed to try it!  This was SUPER easy and fun to make. My kids think I’m a genius for “figuring it out” LOL If you bake often, then you won’t even need the instructions, just a little nudge in the patriotic direction and VOILA!  Use your favorite white cake mix and white icing and there you go.  I even used a strawberry cake mix for the red layer this last time

Patriotic Strawberries ♥

Patriotic Strawberries ♥ I saw these in a magazine and just HAD to try them myself.  They turned out so stinkin’ cute and delicious ♥ These were super easy to make also.  Here are the details: Gather your supplies: 1# of fresh strawberries 10 oz of white chocolate chips sugar crystals tinted blue 1. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl. Heat them for 20 seconds at a time, stirring between each 20 second cycle. It should take 3-5 cycles to get them completely

I don’t voice my opinion about political issues often on my blog, but I think this is going to be a hot topic since so many of you have children in sports. We live in a very small town in south Louisiana and our children play baseball/t-ball on the community league along with about 400 other children. My husband and I have coached and helped coach for the past three years and we LOVE IT! Our son made the all-star t-ball team last year which was a load of fun
