Holiday Leftover Turkey Salad Sliders

Do you have leftover turkey from the holidays and looking for a new way to serve it?  I’m not a huge fan of reheating turkey.  I just don’t like the way it tastes once it is reheated.  The great thing about this recipe is that you can use it with any kind of turkey; smoked turkey, Cajun turkey, herb roasted turkey, deep fried turkey, you name it!  They all add a unique flavor to the turkey salad that you are sure to fall in love with.

Holiday Leftover Turkey Salad Sliders

I make these for our New Years Eve party every year.  This way, I get to use the turkey that I bought while it was on sale for 25¢  pound and I get to use the rolls I bought while they were on sale.  I am a huge fan of leftover holiday recipes because it allows you to stock up while these foods are on sale at a deep discount and serve them in a way that no one has had yet.

My kiddos are not huge fans of leftovers.  This makes it very important for me to find new ways to use the foods that I cook and create a new dish.  This allows me to “disguise” the leftovers as a fresh, new dinner!  I hope you enjoy these Holiday Leftover Turkey Salad Sliders as much as we do!  You can substitute chicken and make chicken salad sliders as well.  They just get better and better the more you personalize them.  For the leftover turkey sliders, I like to mix in dried cranberries, chopped celery, and sometimes even some chopped pecan pieces.  Be sure to leave me a comment below to let me know how your family liked it and if you tried any new way of serving.
