Edible Peppermint Serving Tray/Bowl

edible peppermint bowl

This is one of the easiest projects I have done for Christmas. It is very easy! You can make any design you like with the peppermints (you can use other hard candies for other occasions). Line a cookie sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil and arrange the candies in your preferred design, leaving about 1/4 inch space between each candy to allow for spreading. I love using non-stick foil, plus there were some great coupons out last month! Place the sheet with the candies in an oven that has been preheated to 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. You can either leave the platter flat to cool and you will have a wonderful serving platter. I like to make bowls with mine. For making a bowl, I allow the candies to cool for about 5 minutes then place them, still on the foil or parchment paper, in a bowl to mold them. Be very careful when doing this because the candies will be VERY fragile. You will not need to get the exact shape of the bowl you are using, but you will get your own unique design and the bowl helps keep it shaped while it completely cools 😀
