Easy DIY Heart Garland
This was a super fun and easy Valentine’s Project that the kids and I did. Any project where they get to use construction paper, staples, or tape is always the BEST. This project has all 3! This is super fun too because everyone had a job. There was nothing that they couldn’t use and nothing that was “off limits”. You can get super creative with it and use different colors. This would also be fun for a wedding or princess party. I plan on incorporating this into our Cinderella party we have coming up! Have fun with it and make it your own.
Gather your supplies:
- 8 X 12 inch (standard size) Construction paper in your choice of colors
- Paper cutter or scissors
- Stapler
- Tape of choice
How to create the “hearts”:
Cut your construction paper into strips about 1 1/2 – 2 inches wide. Next just staple the bottom of the first “heart” to the top of the next heart and keep going until you reach the desired length! See, easy peasy lemon squeezy!
My son made something like this in art class. He put strips on the hearts.
