From Children’s Museum of Acadiana’s Facebook page: “FEBRUARY IS DENTAL HEALTH MONTH! Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. The CMA’s Dental Exhibit Sponsors, Drs. Bill Keaty and Anita Gouri, want to help our visitors develop good hygeine habits. During the month of February, they will give each child who visits the Museum a gift to encourage brushing and flossing. Thank you Dr. Keaty and Dr. Gouri…”where kids can be Cavity Free”!” Thanks so much
What is the Sales Tax Holiday? The Louisiana Sales Tax Holiday provides an exemption from state sales tax on the first $2,500 of the purchase price of most individual items of tangible personal property for non-business use. The state sales tax is payable on the portion of the purchase price of any individual item in excess of $2,500. The holiday will apply to the 4 percent state sales tax, but will not apply to the sales taxes levied by parishes, municipalities, school boards, and other political subdivisions of the state.

I don’t voice my opinion about political issues often on my blog, but I think this is going to be a hot topic since so many of you have children in sports. We live in a very small town in south Louisiana and our children play baseball/t-ball on the community league along with about 400 other children. My husband and I have coached and helped coach for the past three years and we LOVE IT! Our son made the all-star t-ball team last year which was a load of fun
